Studio Daniel Rother is a graphic design studio based in Berlin/Zurich working at the intersection of culture, design, fashion and research. 1/2 of the image consulting practice Hemedinger Rother. 1/2 of the research project Bilderlärm which focuses on the various visual languages by the New Left in Switzerland establishing a radical-democratic understanding of design.

Ellen Rifkin Hill research grant at Schweizerisches Sozialarchiv, Zurich 2022-2024. Shown at Brno Biennial 2018 and awarded with the Best Book Design from all over the World 2010, Certificate of Typographic Excellence by Type Directors Club, New York 2009, Förderpreis für Junge Buchgestalter, Stiftung Buchkunst 2009 a.o. In 2012/2013 the Fonds BKVB supported the studio.
